Stayed here for 3 nights during a visit to Athens. I booked a junior suite which was a very spacious, newly renovated room, that offered very cold AC, 2 balconies, a kitchenette, a great shower and more. The bedroom was disappointing as the bed was just two single beds pushed together. The hotel is approximately a 20-25 minute walk north from Psyiri, so you are decently close to many bars, great restaurants, and the acropolis; however this isn’t exactly a nice walk, the area immediately around the hotel is very run down, you may see drug use, “escorts”, and the whole lot you’d expect in a rough neighbourhood. I never felt unsafe, but solo travel, families, or groups of women may not be comfortable. The hotel is located close to a train station, but please note train service stops at 23:55 and cabs will double their rates after this time. The hotel had some useful services such as 24 hour reception, breakfast (additional cost), housekeeping that came daily, and bag services (unsecured storage although). Pros: Fair cost Clean, modern, renovated rooms Good services for the price point Very spacious Cons: Undesirable location Thin walls (could hear a baby crying from another room)

My adult children and I stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites over Christmas and it was perfect! It was clean and nice comfortable. The elevator is small but we were on first floor so we didn't even use it. The staff was great especially Katriana (sorry spelling may be off) she was great! She helped arrange taxi for us to and from Port Pireaus and went above and beyond anytime we asked about anything. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for comfort and a great staff!

Travelling solo for the first time I was apprehensive and after reading some of the reviews this added to my angst. However on arrival I was warmly greeted and throughout my 5day stay the lovely reception staff couldn't have been more helpful! The hotel, although not situated in the most appealing of areas, is lovely, very clean and has everything you need during your stay. The area isn't the best, however is up and coming and is that of any city centre. Keeping your wits about you and being aware of your surroundings is the best advice I can give! Even in the main Monastiraki Square, you need to be very much aware! I loved my stay and would very much recommend this hotel as I felt very safe here. Walking into the main areas I would advise to walk to the National Archeological Museum and then travel by bus(or walk) to the other areas as this is the way I personally felt safest. The sightseeing buses are the best way to see the city and it's great hopping on/off wherever you wish. I would definitely recommend Plaka as a place to visit-very beautiful and has great places to eat! Taxi drivers can try to con you and charge 4 times the amount for a 5€ journey from Monastiraki SQ to the hotel so be wary of this and agree fares before getting in! All in all a great hotel to stay at and if travelling with 2 or more I'm sure walking back to the hotel at night is fine - I just personally didnt feel safe doing this! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I have 0 problems with this hotel the staff are very nice and the rooms are lovely. But the thing ghat lets this great hotel down is the area, we found walking back at night time quite disturbing and lots of rubbish everywhere. Also very noisy.

We booked the hotel online through hotels.com. Were told it’s a four star hotel. But were completely disappointed when reached there. By no stretch of imagination it was four star rather it’s look and facilities are a two star hotel. It’s reception was in a crammed space and always manned by a lone person. As a result around 12 noon when people check in and out, the receptionist is unable to cope up. Secondly their restaurant is under renovation thus no food served. And the worst thing is their tiny old lift which cannot hold more than two persons with their bags. It’s dangerous because doesn’t have a security door. The door of each floor serves as the only security barrier. Room service was good though. It’s location is in the old central area which is not as clean as other neighbourhoods.
